    Professional actor, qualified teacher and passionate LAMDA educator with over 25 years of industry and classroom experience.

    Jules Martin (PGCE)

    Jules is a professional working actor and a qualified teacher. She is the founder and creator of 'Learn LAMDA' an online provision for those seeking LAMDA qualifications.

    Jules trained for 3 years at The Birmingham School of Speech & Drama (as was) between 1992-1995 and gained her Equity Card & Spotlight membership soon after. Her industry experience spans, TV documentaries & commercials, London Fringe Theatre, touring Theatre-in-Education productions, training events, corporate role-playing and pantomimes.

    After many years of work as a jobbing actor, Jules gained her PGCE qualification (with QTS) in Secondary Drama teaching at Middlesex University in North London. Graduating in 1998, She was thrilled to be guided by the Principal Lecturer and Drama in Education expert Ken Taylor.

    Her teaching experience has crossed a range of ages and abilities. Teaching GCSE & A Level Drama & Theatre Studies in mainstream Secondary Schools across London, Jules gained experience as a sole teacher in a Drama Dept as well as a mentor for University placed student teachers. Her educational practice continued, giving her experience in a range of settings such as: BTEC Drama in FE Colleges, Post 16 Drama Schools, Community Theatre and Stage Schools before finally finding her niche in LAMDA teaching!

    Initially starting LAMDA teaching in Schools, Jules worked freelance in Grammar, Secondary and Independent Preparatory Schools before investing fully in her online LAMDA business. Specialising in Public Speaking, Solo Acting and the Introductory range of LAMDA examinations; Jules has an outstanding track record of LAMDA examination results.

    Jules holds a current enhanced DBS on the update service.
