Solo Introductory Exams:
The Solo Introductory range of LAMDA exams provide a gentle and encouraging first step into LAMDA examinations, ideal for younger learners or beginners, aged around 5-8 years old. These exams focus on enjoyment, participation, and building confidence through:
- Simple recital/performance tasks of poetry
- Basic communication and expression
- Developing confidence in performing
- Positive early experiences of achievement
- Communication skills using simple stimuli like toys, photos & books

LAMDA Solo Introductory examinations are designed to develop confidence and basic communication skills. They introduce the learner to the LAMDA graded examinations in Performance & Communication.
The syllabus enables appropriate development in interpretative skills, technical skills and basic communication skills.
These exams progress in stages of 1, 2 & 3 with a progressive approach to building :
